Resurgent Whiskey’s New, All-Natural Flavors

Resurgent Whiskey
Avellino Brothers’ ChesCo Distillery Unveils New Line of Botanical Whiskeys

by Melissa Jacobs

Meet Revivalist Gin’s naughty brother: Resurgent Whiskey. Made by Brandywine Branch Distillers, the Elverson company that brought us Revivalist’s award-winning botanical gins, Resurgent walks tall with 80 proof, two-year-old wheat whiskeys made with a proprietary cold brew infusion process.

This month, Resurgent unveils two new whiskeys: sarsaparilla with cherry bark and licorice root; and coffee bean with chicory root. Unlike other whiskeys that contain sugar and other added flavors, Resurgent is infused with only the finest botanicals. These all-natural whiskeys don’t have sugar or preservatives. Which means we can drink more of them, yes?

“We are trying to target whiskey lovers and cocktail lovers who care about what goes into their spirits as much as they care about the taste,” said Scott Avellino, who founded Resurgent Whiskeys and Revivalist Gins with his brother Don. “We are very proud of all of our award-winning products and previous accolades, and we hope these new expressions are as well received as our award-winning gin expressions.”

Made from a thoughtfully-crafted mash bill and aged in custom-charred, virgin American White Oak casks, Resurgent Whiskeys’ character invokes America’s rebellious beginnings and the distillery’s love of pushing the envelope. If you love Revivalist (which we do), you’ll swoon over Resurgent’s whiskeys.
