Brandywine Art Guide, the well-respected resource on local fine art, has joined Main Line Tonight’s digital news and entertainment network. Beginning in February, Brandywine Art Guide will be published as a monthly feature on mainlinetonight.com and be distributed in Main Line Tonight’s email newsletter.

Created in 2022 by lifelong Chester County resident Victoria Rose, an experienced editor and writer, Brandywine Art Guide began as a social media account featuring artists and art exhibits in the region. “I am a fan of all things creative, and it has been a true pleasure to not only discover so many fantastic artists and galleries in the region, but also to have the opportunity to share their talents with others,” said Rose.

Rose’s work garnered acclaim from regional artists who brought it to the attention of Melissa Jacobs, editor-in-chief of Main Line Tonight. “Featuring regional artists is one of the core missions of Main Line Tonight and something we’ve done since Day One,” Jacobs said. “Victoria’s work is wonderful and will make Main Line Tonight’s arts coverage even better.”

Together, Main Line Tonight and Brandywine Art Guide will shine a bigger, brighter spotlight on artists in northern Delaware, Chester County, Delaware County and Montgomery County. The region’s rich history of art is being enhanced by newer, up-and-coming artists working in a variety of mediums. Those artists often have trouble finding audiences in the crowded social media space. “Our digital power can help those artists connect with art buyers, art lovers and other artists,” Jacobs said.

While Rose will write about established museums and galleries, she is using her extensive knowledge of the region to discover artists in coffee shops, studios and little-known galleries. “The community of artists in the Brandywine Valley is wonderfully supportive and encouraging,” said Rose. “I love to spend a day wandering, looking for new artists and great art, and learning more about their inspiration.”
