Think it doesn’t matter where you go for braces or Invisalign? Think again. Bryn Mawr Orthodontics offers a better way to straighten teeth. Dr. Conn and Dr. Segal are experts in holistically designing a smile that naturally fits the face. “One person’s beautiful smile may not fit another person’s face, so we look beyond the teeth,” explains Dr. Segal. “The key to giving patients life-changing outcomes is understanding how a patient’s facial features and smile fit together. The result is more than just straight teeth; it is truly a patient’s best smile.”

Drs. Conn and Segal are two of the few Board-certified orthodontists in the area. They have won multiple awards, including Top Dentists in Philadelphia Magazine and Top Orthodontists in Suburban Family Magazine. They have equipped their new state-of-the-art facility, located in Town Place in the heart of Bryn Mawr, with high-tech equipment and the latest in orthodontic technology.
Here is what sets these top doctors apart and why they have established a buzz as the go-to orthodontists on the Main Line for Invisalign and braces.
State of the Art Treatment and Facility
Forget traditional X-rays or those gooey molds that made you gag when you were a kid. Bryn Mawr Orthodontics is equipped with cutting-edge technology. “Patients have come to expect the most-advanced technology in every aspect of their lives,” said Dr. Conn. “Your childhood orthodontist’s office might have looked like a hardware store, but our new facility feels more like an Apple store.” With digital scans, 3D cameras, in-house 3D printers, and devices to accelerate tooth movement to reduce treatment time, Bryn Mawr Orthodontics infuses the latest technology at every step.

Invisalign: Diamond Plus Providers
Dr. Conn and Dr. Segal are in the top 1% of Invisalign providers nationally and are recognized as Invisalign Diamond Plus orthodontists, the highest tier designation from Invisalign. Moreover, Dr. Segal lectures nationally on behalf of Invisalign to teach other dentists and orthodontists how to improve their case results with Invisalign. The doctors have achieved award-winning results and beautiful smiles using Invisalign’s clear aligners, even for patients who have been told they are not candidates for Invisalign.
Custom-made Braces
Bryn Mawr Orthodontics applies their unique treatment philosophy using LightForce brackets, which are custom-made to fit each individual patient’s tooth anatomy. Here’s how it works: First, the doctors scan pictures of a patient’s teeth. “Our 3D, digital camera technology creates images of teeth and sends those pictures straight to our software programs,” Dr. Segal said. “It’s a two-minute scan with zero radiation and provides many more insights than a doctor can get with the naked eye.” Using these digital scans and software, Drs. Conn and Segal plan the teeth’s movement into their optimal positions with precision that can be measured in tenths of a millimeter. “We’re able to virtually show the final outcomes to patients before we even begin treatment,” explains Dr. Conn. Then, the doctors print the brackets according to this personalized design for the patient. Why is this better? “We are customizing the braces to make the teeth move exactly where we want them to go, which leads to better results and reduced treatment time,” explains Dr. Conn.
