High School Students’ Lip Dub Raises Funds For Principal’s Family
1,600 Lower Merion High School students joined forces for the 5-minute, one-take video to honor the beloved principal who died in a car accident in November.
Lower Merion High School’s Student Council presents its third lip dub in support of the Sean A. Hughes Children’s Trust (https://gofund.me/3399e08b). The lip dub is our rollicking, all-in show-out of what it means to be a member of Aces Nation. Nine months of conversation and 2 months of planning all culminate in this one-take, five minute production with over 1600 Lower Merion High School students, 150 faculty and staff, and leaves no doubt that the heartbeat of Aces Nation has never been stronger.
Lower Merion High School’s 2022 Lip Dub.
We hope that it reminds you of your most thrilling, meaningful moments as a member of Aces Nation. Just as our previous two lip dubs did, this begins with our former principal Mr. Hughes, who was killed in a car accident in November 2021. We are so proud to finish it for him, our school, and our community. Mr. Hughes loved his students; he loved our school spirit. This lip dub is dedicated to him.
Please watch and rewatch the lip dub, send it to your friends, family, and Aces Nation past and present, and consider donating to the Sean A. Hughes Children’s Trust, linked here: https://gofund.me/3399e08b.
