Displaying the grit, grace and gumption that’s made them successful, nine female entrepreneurs shared the stage for a business-centric panel discussion moderated by Ana Welsh, Main Line Tonight’s business editor. The women shared insights, advice and lessons learned as they navigated the pandemic, juggled responsibilities and, in most cases, turned side hustles into full-time careers.

The event was graciously hosted by Malvern’s Rajant Corporation and its CEO and co-founder Bob Schena to support entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. The other lead sponsor was Darrell Alston’s Bungee Obleceni, the Philadelphia-based luxury sneaker and apparel brand. Alston and Christopher Le Vine, proprietor of The Inn at Grace Winery, have supported Main Line Tonight since the independent media network was founded in October 2021.

Main Line Tonight’s mission is to create community, conversation and culture. The company started as an Instagram account in March 2020. During the height of the pandemic, Main Line Tonight was determined to be a light in the dark. By telling stories about innovators, creators and game changers, Main Line Tonight provided a platform to celebrate small businesses when they desperately needed it. Believing that the spotlight grows bigger when it is shared, editor and founder Melissa Jacobs and her team marked Main Line Tonight’s one year anniversary by featuring other female entrepreneurs sparking change in the region.
